Winter Storm Watch Issued Over Eagan Area
Here's what we snow about the snowstorm that is set to arrive in central Minnesota this week.

EAGAN, MN — The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Eagan and the rest of Dakota County. The watch will go into effect Wednesday evening and will last through Thursday afternoon.
Up to 6 inches of snow could fall in Eagan, according to the latest forecast. Up to 7 inches of snow or more could fall in cities south of Eagan.

Thursday: Snow, mainly before 1pm. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 30. North wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Thursday Night: A 40 percent chance of snow before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 24. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15. West wind around 5 mph.
Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 27. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
