Best Places To Raise A Family In MN: 2024 Report

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — The strong economy, school systems, and overall quality of life are some of the top reasons many Minnesota residents give for loving the state.

But there are degrees of goodness, and education website Niche has parsed the metrics to determine where a particular community ranks on its 2024 Best Places to Raise a Family in Minnesota.

Niche analysts judged Minnesota towns on their schools, housing, jobs, weather, crime rate and seven other "quality of life" yardsticks, giving each a traditional "report card" of academic-type grades.

Seven of the top 15 best places to raise a family in Minnesota are in Hennepin County, according to Niche. Eden Prairie was ranked as the best place to raise a family, according to Niche.
