UPDATE: Highway 212 in Eden Prairie Reopens After Fatal Crash
At least one person is dead and another is seriously injured, according to the State Patrol. The eastbound lanes are shut down, use Highway 5.

Update:
Highway 212 reopened shortly after 11 a.m. Friday following a fatal crash near Eden Prairie Road.
The three-vehicle crash that occurred just after 8 a.m. involved three people, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. A Jeep that was traveling westbound on 212 cut across the median and struck a Chevy Malibu traveling eastbound head-on, killing the driver of the Malibu.

The driver of the Jeep was transported to HCMC with serious injuries, according to the state patrol. A 73-year-old Carver woman, who was driving the third vehicle involved in the crash, was not injured.
Authorities have not yet released information about the identities of those involved in the crash.
