Eden Prairie Center Kicks Off Spring with First-ever BLOOM Campaign

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., (Mar. 10, 2025)—This spring, Eden Prairie Center is proud to present BLOOM, an innovative month-long series of events dedicated to community engagement. Set to run from March 18 until April 26, BLOOM will transform Eden Prairie Center into a vibrant hub of activities and events.

“Much like the state of Minnesota, Eden Prairie Center is dedicated to caring for our environment and protecting the planet,” says Cecile O’Hagan, marketing manager at Eden Prairie Center. “Featuring eco-friendly initiatives and family friendly events, BLOOM is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to support sustainability and engage with the community.”

BLOOM aims to inspire and educate visitors on sustainable living practices while fostering a stronger sense of community and promoting fresh beginnings. BLOOM will feature a wide variety of fun activities for people of all ages, including:

Tenant Recycling Programs – Tuesday, March 18
In celebration of World Recycle Day, guests are encouraged to visit several Eden Prairie Center tenants to support their recycling programs. Tenants include:

• Ragstock – Offers recycled and vintage clothing, promoting sustainable fashion by giving pre-owned garments a second life. Their collection includes thrifted, upcycled, and retro styles, reducing textile waste.
• American Eagle – Thinking of getting rid of that old pair of jeans? Bring them into an AE and get $10 toward a new pair! Shoppers must be a Real Rewards member to redeem this offer.
• DSW – The retailer partners with Soles4Souls to collect and donate gently worn shoes to people in need. Guests can drop off shoes at DSW, and Soles4Souls distributes them globally for disaster relief and economic opportunities.
• SCHEELS – Offers a selection of sustainable clothing and gear made from eco-friendly materials and ethical production practices, partnering with brands focused on sustainability including recycled fabrics and responsible sourcing.

While World Recycle Day is a special occasion to spotlight sustainability, these tenants’ recycling programs run year-round. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of these initiatives anytime to contribute to a more sustainable future.

Stretch, Sip & Savor – Saturday, March 22
In celebration of World Water Day, join Let’s Roar for a free stretch class from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., in Center Court. Kickstart the weekend with two back-to-back 20-minute stretch sessions led by Dr. James and an instructor invited by Let’s Roar—no yoga mats required! After the stretch, take a refreshing two-lap walk around the mall (1 mile total) and return to redeem your giveaway.

The first 200 participants who complete the stretch and walk will receive a free ‘Eden Prairie Center’ branded water bottle, while supplies last. Participants will receive a buy one, give one free coupon from Wonders Ice Cream.

Pet Adoption – Saturday, March 22 & Saturday, April 19
Help four-legged pals find their forever homes through Warrior Dog Rescue to adopt the perfect companion. Pet adoptions will take place from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., in Center Court. Eden Prairie Center welcomes service animals only, and we ask guests to leave their personal pets at home as non-service animals are not permitted on-site.

Eden Prairie SCHEELS Spring Ladies Night – Sunday, March 23
Enjoy the first-ever Spring Ladies Night presented by SCHEELS, an exclusive, after-hours shopping event from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The event will feature shopping, light refreshments, local vendors, and giveaways including a $10 SCHEELS gift card upon arrival, plus a SCHEELS tote bag and other prizes. Tickets are available for purchase, with proceeds benefitting Bluebirds & Blooms and its mission to create joy and connection for those living in care communities through the gift of recycled flowers.

Easter Bunny Photos – Beginning Tuesday, April 1 through Saturday, April 19

Bunny Blooms & Springtime Fun – Saturday, April 5
Spring is in the air, and Easter fun is in full bloom! Visit Eden Prairie Center during the Bunny Blooms and Springtime Fun event for a morning of laughter and a warm welcome to the Easter season. Activities include:

• 10:15 a.m.: Comedy by Mixed Nuts – Back by popular demand! These well-adored, silly friends are returning to Center Court for another fun-filled show packed with laughs and giggles. Perfect for little ones aged 2-7 (and plenty of fun for the whole family!).
• 11:00 a.m.: The Easter Bunny Arrives! Spring is officially here, and so is the Easter Bunny! Gather at Center Court and hop along as our fluffy friend makes a grand entrance to its beautiful springtime home.
• 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Spring Blooms Balloon Art & Floral Face Painting – Celebrate the season with whimsical spring-themed balloon creations, in Center Court, from flower crowns to adorable garden critters. Then, let the little ones shine with floral-inspired face painting, featuring pastel blooms, butterflies, and other springtime designs!

• Sweeten Your Bunny Experience
  • Make your Bunny photo session even more special! The first 30 photo sessions with the Easter Bunny between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., in SCHEELS Court will receive a $15 gift card to Wonders Ice Cream to add extra joy to your visit.

ECO Expo – Saturday, April 12
From 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in Center Court the fourth annual ECO EXPO—hosted by the Eden Prairie AM Rotary Club will feature a wide range of activities and attractions for the community with eco-friendly vendors and booths. Over 45+ local eco-conscious businesses and local landscapers will showcase diverse products, services, and unique green tips to emphasize the community’s focus on sustainability. Guests can also enjoy interactive experiences, including a petting area with baby goats and more. Proceeds from the ECO EXPO 2024 event will benefit the Eden Prairie AM Rotary Foundation to help fund the Rotary Club’s upcoming grants.

Sparkle & Bloom – Saturday, April 19
It’s time to shine and celebrate the season! The Spring Sparkle & Bloom event is a fun-filled morning, in Center Court where little ones can embrace the beauty of spring with face painting and dazzling glitter tattoos between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. This is a great way to celebrate the magic of spring with a little extra shimmer and fun!

A2D Academy presents: Spring Artisan Fair – Saturday, April 26
The Spring Artisan Fair presented by A2D Academy will take place at the Eden Prairie Center from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the common area by upper level food court. Over eight weeks, students develop their own businesses based on their passions and talents, creating business plans, producing products, and designing logos and marketing materials. Students and their mentors will host over 20 booths, selling items such as canned goods, handmade tote bags, student-written books, candles, and more.
