UPDATE: Eden Prairie Schools Closed, No Snow Emergency in Effect
An alert went out around 6 a.m.

Update 10 a.m. Tuesday: The city posted the following snow removal update at about 10 a.m.:
After several inches of snowfall March 4-5, the City of Eden Prairie Streets Division has successfully cleared all City streets - therefore, no snow emergency is currently in effect.

All K-12 schools will be closed today (March 5). All Early Childhood & Community Ed classes scheduled today are cancelled. Kids EdVenture and YMCA School-Age Care programs are closed for the entire day. Watch News at a Glance (to the right) for additional info throughout the day.
According to WCCO, here are other closures in Eden Prairie:
- Empire Beauty School
- Grace Church (including Funshine Preschool)
- St. Andrew Early Childhood
No morning and early afternoon classes at TAGS Gymnastics, according to WCCO.
Pax Christi Catholic Church will open at noon. All morning activities are canceled.
Winter Storm Saturn will continue to drop snow on the area throughout the day.
Eden Prairie is in a snow emergency, since 2 inches or more of snow has fallen.
