It admittedly wasn't the "Snowmageddon" many were forecasting, but Eden Prairie still received a healthy dose of snow during this week's winter storm. According to data from the National Weather Service, Eden Prairie received 1.2 inches of snow on Monday, Mar. 4. That wouldn't have been so bad, except an additional 8.6 inches was reportedly dumped on the city during Tuesday, Mar. 5. That's a grand total of 9.8 inches of snow within a 48-hour period. Still, it was right in line with several of our west metro neighbors. A trained spotter over in Richfield reported 8.5 inches, while our eastern neighbors in Edina received 9 inches of snow by the end of the storm.
