• ISM celebrates 40th annual Day of Service (eplocalnews.org) — Students at Eden Prairie’s International School of Minnesota recently marked the 40th SLO Day of Service by volunteering with eight nonprofits, from PROP to My Very Own Bed. They assembled bed frames, wrapped gifts, created anti-bullying materials, and ran a major personal care drive, highlighting both youth leadership and the often-invisible needs within Eden Prairie’s seemingly affluent community.
   

• Trading cards spark Eden Prairie Target theft charge (eplocalnews.org) — An alleged theft of collectible basketball cards at the Eden Prairie Target on Flying Cloud Drive has led to a gross misdemeanor charge for a Chaska man and a ban from all Target stores statewide. Police say an Eden Prairie officer used a precision maneuver to stop the fleeing vehicle, recover the cards, and arrest the suspect, who remains in custody with a March court date.
   

• Prep report: Denfeld's Carter Brown takes over on UMD floor (pinejournal.com) — A regional girls hockey roundup includes a Grand Rapids/Greenway win over Roseau in a game played in Eden Prairie, where Kylie DeBay and Kate Carlson each tallied three points. The broader prep report highlights busy holiday tournaments across Minnesota and Wisconsin, with multiple standout basketball and hockey performances from northern schools.
