Twin Cities Media Company Plans Major Layoffs This Summer

About 200 workers will be laid off this summer at a Twin Cities media company, according to a notice filed with the state.

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — IV Media, LLC is planning to lay off about 200 workers at its Eden Prairie facility starting this summer, according to a revised notice filed with the state under the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act.

The layoffs are scheduled to take place during a 14-day period beginning June 16, 2025, at the company's site located at 6740 Shady Oak Road, according to the notice received by the State Rapid Response Team.

The layoffs will impact a wide range of positions, including roles such as assistant buyer, broadcast system development administrator, guest service coordinator, multimedia UX designer, production director, senior software engineer, on-air host, visual product stylist, and many more.

State officials said Rapid Response Senior Specialist Mee Yang will lead the assessment of the mass layoff event.
