$8,300 Worth of Hockey Jerseys Stolen from Athletic Store
Several boxes of jerseys vanished from Gemini Athletic Wear last week.

More than $8,300 worth of hockey jerseys was stolen from an Edina-based athletic store late last week, according to .
Gemini Athletic Wear management contacted police after realizing three cartons filled with a total of 84 hockey jerseys had not been delivered to their destinations. The jerseys were intended for schools in Cheyenne, WY and Kent, CT, but had seemingly never been picked up by a UPS driver.
The store's general manager examined the area surrounding the loading dock where the cartons had been left, eventually locating the empty boxes in a recycling bin. The jerseys were nowhere to be found.

The manager did not know of any suspects, but provided police with photographs of the jerseys from company archives. The management reportedly plans to switch to having UPS pick up outgoing shipments from inside the front entry of the office.
