• The old oak tree in Bloomington shines brightly once again (hometownsource.com) — A Bloomington-based assisted living operator that also serves Edina has revived the beloved “Lighted Oak” holiday tree on Meadowview Road after a decade-long hiatus. The owners invested over $20,000 and more than 40,000 LED lights to restore the display, and they’re seeking community donations to help sustain the tradition, with the tree lit nightly through Jan. 31.
