Ed Fund Awards $50K in Grants to Edina Schools
The grant money will fund technology, collaborative efforts and special education program improvements.

More than $50,000 was recently awarded to Edina Public Schools in the form of 15 Innovation Grants from the .
The grants will fund new iPads for use in band and physical education, equipment for Project Lead the Way, enhancements to the district's special education program and using Chromebooks in elementary and middle school classrooms.
The Edina Education Fund is an independent nonprofit dedicated to the continued academic excellence of Edina Public Schools. It was created in 1995 by a group of parents advocating for computers in elementary school classrooms. Donations to the organization can be made online.
