Edina Realtor Collects 7,685 Holiday Toys
Coldwell Banker Burnet recently wrapped up its 10th annual Trees for Toys drive.
One local realty company truly got into the giving spirit this holiday season, collecting 7,685 toys to donate to needy children through Toys for Tots and other agencies.
Edina-based Coldwell Banker Burnet hosted its 10th annual Trees for Toys program, inviting customers to come to offices throughout the region and exchange a toy donation for a free Christmas tree or wreath. The company gave out a total of 6,100 trees and wreaths, according to a release.
"The unselfish efforts of hundreds of our sales associates and employees and the generosity of our customers made it possible for many needy children to enjoy a happy holiday," said Robin Peterson, president of Coldwell Banker Burnet.

The Toys for Trees program got its start in 2002, and has seen Coldwell Banker Burnet give away more than 55,000 trees and wreaths in exchange for more than 90,000 donated toys.
