Edina Debt Collector Recognized for Performance

An Edina-based debt collection agency is apparently pretty good at its job.

The Northland Group, Inc. was recently honored as one of the most innovative and top performing agencies in the collection industry during the 2011 Debt Connection Symposium in Las Vegas.

"It’s our mission and our passion to make sure our clients are always beyond satisfied with our service and results,” said Northland Group President Lance Black. "We work hard every day to stay ahead of the curve in terms of our data gathering, legal compliance and collection practices."

Founded in 1982, The Northland Group provides services focused on accounts receivable management and collection services for national credit grantors, debt buyers, and student loan lenders and servicers.

Northland was named Best Overall Agency and Innovator of the Year by Resurgent Capital Services and also took home the "Late Stage Performance" Award from Discover Financial Services. All awards received were for work done in 2011.
