Edina Man Arrested on Drug Charges After Creating Scene in Restaurant
Angel Ameth Gonzalez Graves faces a felony drug charge after police say he threatened customers at a popular downtown Minneapolis eatery.

An Edina man has been charged with felony drug possession after police say he threatened customers at a downtown Minneapolis restaurant and had to be restrained by employees.
Angel Ameth Gonzalez Graves, 29, is charged with fifth-degree drug possession, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called to Seven restaurant on Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis just before midnight Dec. 30 after employees said they needed help.

When police arrived, they found the restaurant’s security employees restraining Graves on the ground behind the restaurant.
Witnesses and employees told police that Graves had been shouting at and threatening customers inside the restaurant. Security employees escorted him to an elevator, where he began fighting with them.

When the elevator doors opened at the restaurant’s rear entrance, employees wrestled him to the ground and restrained him until police arrived.
Police arrested Graves and searched him, finding a glass vial containing 1.4 grams of a white substance. The substance tested positive for cocaine.
Graves was released Monday on a $3,000 bond. A hearing in his case is scheduled for Jan. 18 in Hennepin County District Court.
