Edina's own Paddy Flanagan recently finished third in the M3 age division of slopestyle at the 2012 USAA Marriott Freestyle Junior Nationals. The competition was held from Mar. 5-11 in Steamboat Springs, CO. The Junior Nationals consist of five events: moguls, dual moguls, aerials, halfpipe and slopestyle. The event brings together the top junior competitors from each division, with the results determining the best overall junior competitor in each discipline and the best competitor in each age class. A tip of the hat goes to Facebook fan Matt Koskinen for passing along the information about Paddy.
