Edina Offensive Tackle Named to All-State Team
Kevin Carroll made the AP's second team, while linebacker Tory Dalbec managed an honorable mention.
's Kevin Carroll has been named to the AP all-state football team as a second team offensive lineman.
He was the only player from Edina to make either the first or second team, though linebacker Tory Dalbec did receive an honorable mention.
Carroll, currently a senior at EHS, comes from a family steeped in football. His father, Jay, played tight end at the University of Minnesota before moving on to the NFL for a couple of seasons—one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, one with the Vikings. His older brother, Colin, is wrapping up his fourth season of Division I football at Virginia Tech.
