Edina Police Investigating Possible Child Luring Incident
A 12-year-old girl told police two men offered her gum near 59th Street and Kellogg Avenue.

Edina police are on the lookout for two young men who allegedly attempted to lure a 12-year-old girl into their van with gum.
The young girl was walking near the area of 59th Street and Kellogg Avenue shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, when she said a white van drove next to her. The occupants of the vehicle—described as two Latino males between 18 and 20 years old—then asked her if she would like some gum.
Police report the 12-year-old fled the area and reported the incident to a trusted adult. The van was described as white, with no windows or any sort of writing on the exterior. The men involved appeared to be under the influence, according to police.
