The local chapter of Rotary International raises funds in the fall to help support its projects and grants. More than $71,000 was raised in 2010.
"Rotary’s motto is 'service above self,'" said Community Service Projects Funding Director Grant Robinson. "To that goal, the Edina Noon Rotary holds a fundraiser each year during October. Tremendous effort is made by the members to raise money that is then granted to nonprofit organizations within the community and the surrounding area.”
