Principal Bruce Locklear was recently selected by his colleagues to serve on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).

Locklear will serve as liaison between the national board and the Minnesotan iteration of the association, in addition to attending quarterly meetings of the NASSP. He will represent secondary school principals from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.

“Needless to say, I am honored to represent the Edina school district and the Midwest in the journey that lies ahead,” Locklear said. “I am humbled by this opportunity to serve, and I hope to assist in shaping the next generation of school leaders to support our teachers and students.”
