Girls Lacrosse Undefeated Following Chaska/Chanhassen Win

The Hornets are off to a 3-0 start so far this season, the most recent win a 15-6 rout.

Following a dominant performance against the combined Chaska/Chanhassen force on Thursday, April 19, the girls lacrosse team is sitting pretty at 3-0.

It was an absolutely dominant performance from the team, with three players individually tallying three goals before the night was through. Eighth grader Catherine MacLennan, sophomore Natalie Rauchle and junior Madeline Rodriguez each accounted for three goals and one assist during the game.

Sophomore forward Sheila Hirsch had two goals and one assist, while senior forward Jordie Schnell had one goal and one assist. Reid Hirschey, Morgan Marinovich and Jenny Reinke each finished the game with one goal apiece. Junior forward Jane Thotland managed three assists and freshman Taylor Williamson had one assist.

It was the third impressive win in a row for the team, coming off of a 15-7 victory over Benilde-St. Margaret's and a 13-2 triumph against Hopkins.

The Hornets travel to Eden Prairie to face the likewise unbeaten Eagles (4-0) at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 21.
