Human Rights Commission Encourages Residents to See 'Bully'
The film will be screening at the Landmark Lagoon Theater in Uptown Minneapolis on Friday, April 13.
As part of an ongoing effort to bring attention to the rampant amount of bullying taking place across the country and in Edina itself, the city's Human Rights & Relations Commission is encouraging residents to head to the movies this Friday.
"Bully," a new film aimed at bringing a human scale to the more than 13 million American children who will be bullied this year, is opening at Uptown Minneapolis' Landmark Lagoon Theater this Friday, April 13. The documentary film takes an in-depth look at how bullying has impacted five different families.
No word yet on if the film will be screening a bit closer to home—the Lagoon Theater is under the same ownership of 50th & France's own —but we'd love to hear from any locals who have already seen the film or have plans to watch it. Leave a short review in the comments section below and let us know what you thought of the film and if you think it is pertinent in our local schools.
