(LIVE VIDEO) Vikings Stadium Bill Goes Before Senate Finance Committee

Watch as the committee votes whether to move the plan forward.

A proposal to use public money to build a football stadium for the Minnesota Vikings is being heard at 9 a.m. before the Senate Finance Committee.

The bill has cleared two committees in the Senate on voice votes "without recommendation" as backers try to navigate a political minefield to get it to a Senate floor vote. Most recently, it sailed through the Senate Jobs and Economic Growth Committee.
