EDINA, MN — Fellers, a wholesale distributor of vinyl wraps and signage materials, will permanently close its Edina location next month, resulting in the layoff of its only employee, according to a WARN notice filed with the state.The facility, located at 7367 Washington Avenue South, will close on June 27. The lone warehouse lead working at the site will be permanently laid off. No union is involved, and there are no bumping rights, state officials noted.The closure was disclosed to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) through the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act. The agency's State Rapid Response Team will monitor the situation, with specialist John Mohs assigned to assess the impact. Though the number affected is small, the notice states there could be potential trade-related implications related to the closure.
