New Orleans-Themed Restaurant To Open In Edina

EDINA, MN — A well-known Twin Cities chef from Louisiana is set to bring a taste of New Orleans to Edina.

Executive chef and owner Tommy Begnaud — who has worked in a number of metro restaurants, including Butcher & the Boar and Coup d’etat — will open the doors to Mr. Paul’s Supper Club for the first time Friday.

The 7,000-square-foot restaurant, named after Begnaud’s grandfather, includes a large bar and lounge, as well as unique dining areas and a bar for private events, the Twin Cities Pioneer Press reported.

It also has an outdoor patio and a “Balloon Emporium” called Mr. Paul’s Po’Boys and James, the report states. Mr. Paul’s Supper Club is located in the Nolan Mains development at 50th and France in Edina.

The website for Mr. Paul’s Supper Club describes the restaurant as a “present-day supper club” serving steaks, seafood, pasta and Cajun favorites, while Eater Chicago called it a “New Orleans-obsessed restaurant ground in Midwestern supper club roots.”

The management team for Mr. Paul’s Supper Club also includes Nick Kosevich as beverage manager, owner-operator Courtney Briden, General Manager Erin Maurer, Jake Dmochowski as chef de cuisine, pastry chef Scott Shelby, bar manager Aynsley Jones and Rachel Hager as maître d'.
