Edina's resident horticulturalist Tim Zimmerman planted the flowers Tuesday thanks to unseasonably warm weather.
In 28 years of working as a horticulturalist for the City of Edina, Tim Zimmerman has never planted daffodils in March.
That all changed Tuesday, Mar. 13, when unseasonably warm weather allowed Zimmerman to plant yellow daffodils in planters in front of . Provided the weather cooperates through April, Edina could be looking at a flower season two months longer than usual.
