(PHOTOS) Edina Baseballers Snap 5-Game Losing Streak
The Hornets got another win over the Wayzata Trojans on Friday, May 11.
The boys baseball team snapped a five-game losing streak by once again defeated the Wayzata Trojans on Friday, May 11, at .
The Hornets came out strong against their opponents, putting up four runs in the first two innings of play. They snuck in another two runs in the fifth inning and managed to hold the Trojans to only a single run all night.
Junior Matt Hopfner pitched a complete game for the team.

It was Edina's third win over Wayzata this season, with the Hornets sweeping the Trojans in 2012. Ironically, the team's last win before its recent streak of bad luck came against Wayzata back on April 30.
The victory gives Edina a 7-8 overall record so far this season, though the Hornets are ranked second in the Lake Conference with a 5-4 record.
