(PHOTOS) Hornets Tripped Up by Wayzata
The Edina boys lacrosse team fell 13-10 to the Trojans on Tuesday, April 24.
The boys lacrosse team came out strong against the Wayzata Trojans, surging to a 9-6 lead after two quarters of play. Unfortunately for the Hornets, Wayzata was able to stop that momentum dead in the second half of the game to sneak out of town with a 13-10 win.
The Hornets are now 1-3 during the 2012 season, with a 1-2 conference record.
Senior Brian Baker was Edina's leading scorer, with three goals during the game. Fellow seniors Danny Burke and Danny Regan each had two goals against the Trojans while Derek Todd, Ted Goltzman and Henry Rose each managed one.

Burke had three assists, Todd had two and Rose and sophomore Chris Johnson each had one.
Goalie Austin Dover made 14 saves in the contest, out of 27 total shots on goal. Junior Willy Dugan won 15 of his 26 faceoffs during the game.
