Police Catch Duo Accused of Stealing $1,500 in Macy's Clothing

Officers also responded to Big Bowl on a report of a loan service agent harassing a man over the phone.

Tuesday, May 29

  • Police responded to on a report of theft. The victim said an unknown suspect stole an $800 cell phone from an unlocked locker inside of the facility.
  • Police responded to the on a report of theft. The victim told police an unknown suspect stole a cell phone valued at $599 when it was left unattended in a restroom.

  • Louis Larell Osborne, 19, of St. Paul, and Najee Ahlmed-Jamal Beard, 19, of Minneapolis, were arrested for theft after employees allegedly observed them steal merchandise totaling $1,514 from the Southdale store and drive off in a vehicle.

  • Police responded to at the on a report of harassing communications. The victim told officers an unidentified person with an online loan service has continually been calling to harass him both on his cell phone and at his place of work.
  • Police responded to the 6500 block of Barrie Road on a report of a forged check cashed using a victim's bank account.
  • Police responded to the 5800 block of Wooddale Avenue on a report of a verbal domestic.
