(POLL) Do We Still Need Daylight Saving Time?

It's time to once again spring forward, as daylight saving time begins this Sunday, Mar. 11.
Don't forget to set your clock ahead an hour before heading to bed Saturday night, as we officially switch over to daylight saving time at 2 a.m. on Sunday morning.
On the bright side—literally—sunset will now occur an hour later.

If you're wondering when we'll gain that hour back, it won't happen until Nov. 4 this year. In 2013, clocks go ahead on Mar. 10 and are set back an hour on Nov. 3.
Each year, clocks are moved ahead an hour on the second Sunday in March and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November.

Not everywhere in the world—or United States and its territories—recognizes daylight saving time.
According to WebExhibits.org, Hawaii, the American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands and Arizona all don't observe daylight saving time.
