Motorists will encounter ramp closures to Highway 169 in Edina and Hopkins as crews continue rehabilitating the Nine Mile Creek, Excelsior Boulevard and 2nd Street Bridges.
Beginning after the evening rush hours on Thursday, June 20, the Bren Road ramp to northbound Highway169 and the 7th Street W (Interlachen Road) ramp to southbound Hwy 169 will close.
In addition, the Excelsior Boulevard ramp in Hopkins to southbound Hwy 169 will remain closed. Eastbound Excelsior Blvd traffic will be detoured to Blake Road and Hwy 7. Westbound motorists will be detoured to Shady Oak Road and to Hwy 7. Weather permitting, the ramps will re-open in mid or late July.
