Residents Invited to Skate Braemar, Free of Charge

The Braemar-City of Lakes Figure Skating Club is hosting free rink time at the Edina ice arena this weekend.

will be packed this Saturday, Jan. 28, as the Braemar-City of Lakes Figure Skating Club and Braemar Skating School—part of Edina's Parks & Recreation program—present "Celebrate Braemar...Skate for Life."

The event takes places from 1:45-3:15 p.m. Saturday, with Braemar's figure skating professionals inviting members of the community to carve up the east rink of Braemar Arena and even receive some helpful pointers as part of National Skating Month.

The entire event is completely free, plus attendees can view live demonstrations from the organization's state and regional competitors. Complimentary refreshments and giveaways will also be provided by the skating club.
