The National Weather Service issued a tornado watch for 13 counties, including Hennepin County, at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.  The tornado watch, which covers Edina, is scheduled to last through 9 p.m. A tornado watch indicates that conditions are favorable for producing tornadoes, not that tornadoes have actually occurred.
