Body Found In Fridley Pond

ANOKA COUNTY, MN — The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a body was found in a pond in Fridley over the weekend.

At about 7:40 p.m. Saturday, deputies and Fridley police officers responded to a report of a "suspected body" in a pond near the 400 block of Mississippi Street Northeast.

Investigators recovered the body of a deceased male who was later identified as Daniel Mark Aubrecht, age 62, of Fridley.

"At this time, no foul play is suspected in this incident," the sheriff's office said.

"This investigation is ongoing by the Fridley Police Department, Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office, and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office. No further information will be released at this time."
