Boosters Tee Up Fundraiser Saturday for Fridley Football Program

Call it making  the best of two great sports. 
The Fridley Touchdown Club on Saturday will hold a golf fundraiser for the Fridley High School football program. 

The fundraiser starts at 1 p.m. with the event a four-person, 18-hole scramble format. It is scheduled to take place at the Majestic Oaks golf course. 

Cost is $380 per team ($95.00 per person) which includes golf, cart, dinner and prizes. All proceeds raised will go to the Fridley High School football program

"FIDDLER ON THE ROOF" Opens Friday


The famous Broadway musical plays opens this weekend at the Fridley High School auditorium. The first show is at 7 p.m. Friday (July 27).
To get reserved seats, call  763-502-5100 or order online at www.fridleycommunitytheatre.org.  Performances are also scheduled Saturday and Sunday and the following weekend. 

Free Friday Movie at Springbrook Nature Center 


Fridley's Springbrook Nature Center  will show the movie "Big, Big World: Sky Above." The event, which is free, starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday and goes until 8:30 p.m. Popcorn and lemonade available for only $1, 

Fridley City Band and German Band Concert Sunday at Springbrook Nature Center


The full band will play a free concert from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The band's German Band will play from 3 to 4 p.m. .The Nature Center is located at 100 85th Ave NW, Fridley.
