Got Storm Damage? Here's What To Do

While the City of Fridley may not be picking up residents' storm-damaged trees, according to a bulletin posted on the city website, local homeowners still have some options for getting rid of downed limbs and other yard waste from last weekend's storm.

According to the city's announcement, limbs and waste from damaged boulevard trees will still be picked up, curb-side.

Anoka County maintains two public compost sites, in Lino Lakes and in Coon Rapids. Both facilities charge dumpers by the size and amount of material.

  • Branches 6 inches or less in diameter - $7/cubic yard
  • Branches or logs greater than 6 inches in diameter - $10/cubic yard
  • Trunks or stumps greater than 2 feet in diameter - $40/cubic yard
