• Police: Fridley man charged after12-mile, high-speed chase (hometownsource.com) — A Fridley resident has been charged after allegedly leading police on a 12-mile, high-speed overnight chase from Anoka to Elk River earlier this month. Prosecutors say the 36-year-old faces felony fleeing and gross misdemeanor driving-after-cancellation charges, with a court hearing set in Anoka County District Court on December 29.
