They Went on Vacation and Came Home to an Unwelcome Surprise

Incident occurred between June 23 and July 7.

Some Fridley residents returned from vacation this past Sunday to an unwelcome surprise: They found their house had been burglarized, according to a report from city police, 
In a crime alert issued this week , Fridley Police said, "The suspects appeared to gain access to the home by forcing entry through a south facing door, damaging the door and frame. The door was standing open. " The break-in occurred in the 5700 block of West Moore Lake Drive N.E. sometime between June 23 and July7, police said 
The residents said it appeared nothing had been taken from their house, although some areas of the home looked like they had been gone through, Fridley police said. 
Currently, no suspects have been identified or apprehended and Fridley Police are looking for more information.
