Tiffany Strabala Announces Run for School Board in Coon Rapids Area
A Voice for Common Sense and Academic Excellence

TIFFANY STRABALA ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR THE ANOKA-HENNEPIN SCHOOL BOARD IN AREA 6 (Coon Rapids/Andover)
With the theme of "A Voice for Common Sense and Academic Excellence," Tiffany Strabala has
announced her 2025 run for the Anoka-Hennepin School Board (AHSB) in Area 6. It includes Coon Rapids and Southern Andover.
As a current Substitute School Teacher, and a life-long resident of the district, Strabala explained, "I have appreciated the education I received from Anoka-Hennepin, and want to give back to this community. It has provided me with so many great opportunities." Strabala earned a Teaching degree from St. Cloud State University.
According to Strabala, "Education is the key to success for each individual, but also the foundation of a successful community. Andover and Coon Rapids have a long tradition of excellence." She explained, "I believe our schools must focus on educational basics, being fiscally responsible, and providing a safe environment-- so that every student can reach her/his full potential." In fact, Strabala has spent years attending Anoka-Hennepin School Board meetings, and seeking common-sense solutions to benefit young people.

Strabala states three priorities:
1.) It is time to restore academic excellence! Clear expectations are shown to improve student
outcomes.
2.) A school environment, with safe classrooms-- free of violence is key; teachers should be given respect,
as they provide direct instruction.
3.) Protection of parental rights is important for transparency.
Tiffanyβs experiences include, being a current Substitute School Teacher in the Anoka-Hennepin School
District, and being a stay-at-home Mom. Tiffany and her husband, Russell, have been married for 29
years, and have four grown children.

Strabala has extensive experience in the community. She currently volunteers with students at an after-school club in Coon Rapids Middle School. In addition, she volunteers at Ramsey Elementary School with
a student group called "The Good News Club." Strabala is a former swim coach with both Anoka High
School and Blaine High School. She is a long-time member of North Heights Lutheran Church, where she has been a Sunday School Teacher and a mentor for a women's group.
