For a fee, Hopkins will offer childcare options during these three non-school days. Tuition assistance will be available. Our Kids & Co. childcare program will send out a follow-up communication with more details.
We know that adding three non-school days to the calendar is a potential burden for families. However, given the immense challenges of this school year and the significant transformations ahead, it’s imperative that we provide our educators with the time they need for professional development and instructional planning time. Please know that even with this change, we will still far exceed the minimum number of instructional hours for K-6 students as required by the state of Minnesota.
