“It was an interesting professional cooperative,” Rick said of working with his spouse. “I brought my knowledge of the high school and she brought her knowledge of how music works.”

Rick, who is a social studies teacher at the high school, is not familiar with directing choir. However, when three students asked him to facilitate so that they could participate in an extracurricular choral group, he couldn’t say no. That’s when he asked his wife if they could sing at the choral concert as well.

Both choral groups performed the best they have done since they started rehearsals. Way to go, Royals!
