The Orchestra Spotlight Concert is scheduled for Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Hopkins High School auditorium (2400 Lindbergh Drive, Minnetonka). Tickets will be available at the door. Hopkins students will have free entry. In addition to the Feb. 25 concert, Hopkins High School will also perform a daytime showing “preview” open to all Hopkins High School students at 11:30 a.m. that same day.

According to orchestra director Alison Swiggum, the student concert was the idea of Hopkins High School Principal Crystal Ballard as a way to provide some fun during the learning day and also to give more students the opportunity to attend and hear the performance.
