As Principal Jim Hebeisen pointed out, getting the tattoo was an opportunity to model some of the school's key character strengths.

Last week, Principal Jim Hebeisen made his Tanglen Pride permanent. After his students successfully raised a whopping $50,000 in their direct fundraiser, Principal Hebeisen made good on his promise to get a REAL TATTOO that says "Tanglen Pride." We traveled with Jim to Hopkins' own Dragonland Tattoo where he was inked by a former Tanglen student.

As Principal Jim Hebeisen pointed out, getting the tattoo was an opportunity to model some of the school's key character strengths. It took courage to do something new, dependability to follow through with his promise, and teamwork to make the tattoo happen!
