Search For Missing 4-Year-Old Continues Late Into The Night In Hopkins
People with surveillance cameras were asked to check for possible sightings and anyone with information was asked to call 911, police said.

HOPKINS, MN — A search for a missing 4-year-old in Hopkins stretched through the day Sunday and into the night, according to police.
The child, identified by KMSP as Waeys Ali Mohamed, wandered away at 7:30 a.m. and was seen walking east on Lake Street Northeast.
Police were searching for him in the area of Blake Road North and Second Street Northeast, authorities said. The boy is about 3 feet tall, 40 pounds, has short curly hair and was wearing blue pajama pants, according to police.

Authorities requested people stay away from the search area as the boy is easily scared by crowds and loud noises. The child has autism, is nonverbal and is drawn to water, according to KMSP.
