The free cups of Amy's Blend coincides with Caribou's launch of this coffee collection, which features citrus and melon flavors. Amy's Blend is named after Amy Erickson, an original Caribou roastmaster who lost her battle with breast cancer in 1995, the company said.
In tribute to Erickson, Caribou said it's supporting the fight against breast cancer in a new partnership with CancerCare, a national non-profit dedicated to providing free support services for anyone affected by cancer diagnosis. From Saturday, Sept. 29 through Wednesday, Nov. 7; Caribou will offer its special Amy's Blend collection – which includes coffee, tea, and merchandise – both in stores and online. Ten percent of all proceeds from the collection sales will go to CancerCare to support free services for those affected by breast cancer, the coffee retailer said.
