• Suspect in shooting at Maple Grove restaurant arrested, charged (bringmethenews.com) — A man was arrested in Inver Grove Heights on Tuesday in connection with a November shooting at the Benihana restaurant in Maple Grove that left one person hospitalized. Maple Grove police, assisted by South Metro SWAT, took the Brooklyn Park suspect into custody and he now faces a second-degree assault charge, while separate animal mistreatment charges allege neglected dogs were found at his home.
