CHARACTER Teodor Dahle was known for his strength and integrity. His loved ones have all had moments with him that showed what he was made of--he was good, through and through.
SENSE OF HUMOR Teodor loved to laugh and make people laugh. He was known for his antics--getting into mischief as a boy, dressing up for a laugh, and surprising his loved ones with elaborately decorated presents that, once opened, turned out to be giant carrots or other odd things that shocked us but made him laugh.

MAN OF ACTION Teodor no sooner thought of something than he was doing it. And he could do, fix, or make anything. (He once crocheted a doll outfit while mom was out.) He was a creative baker, gardener, and builder.
OLD-WORLD CRAFTSMAN In 1964, Teodor partnered with his brother Toralv and established a building business that still thrives today--Dahle Bros. Together, they made fine-quality homes--hundreds in the metro area.
FAMILY Teodor always loved to be near his wife, Kari. He always said that she is the nicest person he's ever met. And, he meant that deeply. He was a caring and dedicated father--always there for his kids when they needed him. And, he loved his grandchildren, playing with them, making igloos and projects in the garage, and teaching them how to be good people by example. He was always close to his brother Toralv--even literally--they lived a cul-de-sac away from each other in Lakeville, in the same condo building in Florida, and had cabins at the same lake. And, Teodor loved his family in Norway. His sisters were so close to his heart. Three of them were able to have extended visits with him this past year, which made him so happy and yet so sad when he said goodbye.
