A deputy from the <a href="http://www.dakotacountysheriff.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Dakota County Sheriff's Office</a> handled a call about stolen lawn ornaments, according to the latest <a href="http://www.dakotacountysheriff.org/newsletters/Volume9,Weeks20-21.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">"The Front Row" newsletter</a>. Each of three cement lion lawn ornaments weighed 130 pounds. In another incident, a deputy issued citations to drivers who were traveling over 100 mph on Highway 52. The drivers could potentially lose their licenses for six months. A third incident in the newsletter describes a crash between a van and a farm combine on Highway 61 and 170th Street East.
