Cement Lion Lawn Ornaments Go Missing and Excessive Speeders

The latest newsletter from the Dakota County Sheriff's Office includes a report of three missing 130-pound lion lawn ornaments.

A deputy from the Dakota County Sheriff's Office handled a call about stolen lawn ornaments, according to the latest "The Front Row" newsletter.

Each of three cement lion lawn ornaments weighed 130 pounds.

In another incident, a deputy issued citations to drivers who were traveling over 100 mph on Highway 52. The drivers could potentially lose their licenses for six months.

A third incident in the newsletter describes a crash between a van and a farm combine on Highway 61 and 170th Street East. No one was injured, though the van sustained "significant damage."
