E.coli Bacteria Temporarily Closes Lakeville's Orchard Lake Beach

beach has been closed to the public because of high E.coli bacteria levels in the water, according to a press release issued by the city.
Water testing will re-occur daily until the levels of bacteria are acceptable for public swimming, according to the city's release.
Though, due to the lag time in received lab results, it's possible the beach could be closed through the weekend, according to the city.

Nobody has reported an illness from the high bacteria levels.
According to Web MD, children are more likely than adults to develop symptoms of E.coli, though adults can express symptoms, which include:

- Severe stomach cramps and stomach tenderness.
- Diarrhea, watery at first, but often becoming very bloody.
- Nausea and vomiting.
In July, public due to high bacteria levels. Both have since reopened.
