Lakeville Gunman Deserves Trial, Dakota County Judge Says
Antonio Lamar Powell, 36, accused of brandishing a gun during a fight last November, is scheduled to appear at a settlement conference on Feb. 8 and, if necessary, a jury trial on Feb. 27.

A Dakota County District Court Judge found sufficient probable cause in the case against Antonio Lamar Powell to send the 36-year-old Lakeville man to trial.
Powell was in the 17000 block of Firetree Place in .
Powell is accused of brandishing a firearm during a fist fight and is charged with making felony terroristic threats.

On Tuesday afternoon Judge Thomas Pugh scheduled Powell's settlement conference for Feb. 8 and—if no deal is reached between the attorneys on that date—a jury trial for Feb. 27.
The charge against Powell carries with it a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
