Lakeville Bank Evacuated After Bomb Threat
A Wells Fargo bank location in Lakeville was evacuated following a bomb threat it received Friday morning.

LAKEVILLE, MN — A Wells Fargo bank location in Lakeville was evacuated following a bomb threat it received Friday morning.
On Nov. 8 about 9 a.m., the Lakeville Police Department responded to a report of a bomb threat directed toward the Wells Fargo Bank at 17365 Kenyon Avenue.
Officers evacuated the bank and nearby businesses to ensure public safety. The Bloomington Bomb Squad and Airport Police Department’s Bomb Detection K-9 responded to help search the area.

"Following a comprehensive sweep, no suspicious items were located," Lakeville Police said. "The area is deemed safe, and businesses have since been permitted to resume operations."
The investigation into the origin of the threat is continuing, but police said there is no ongoing public safety concern.
